Welcome to Logged Into Terrorism

October 30, 2016 Connor Bean Leave a Comment

Hey! Welcome to the Blog.

Let’s start with a brief introduction so you know the man behind the words. I’m Connor Bean. Currently, I’m a second-year student at Bournemouth University studying Media and Communication. I originally come from roundabout hell which is Milton Keynes, but that’s enough about me.

Onto serious matters, my blog is going to focus specifically on terrorism and the way web and mobile communications have negatively revolutionised it. However, that’s not all as I’m going to be identifying how this social issue impacts us in our day to day lives.

This will be done by analysing several different categories related to terrorism:

  • Publicity and Propaganda
  • Recruitment
  • Cyber-Terrorism
  • Facilitation of Attacks
  • Counter-Terrorism

But how would you define Terrorism?

The Oxford English Dictionary defines Terrorism as:

“The unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims”.

leave a response to how you would define it?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. If you like the post give it a share and don’t forget to keep up-to-date with the blog by either subscribing or clicking on the social media tabs down below.

See you in the next one.
