Did you know you can see how much time you spend on social media on your phone?
If you have an iPhone, there’s a clever trick to see how often you’re using social media apps! Simply go to settings -> Battery -> scroll down and tap the little clock to the right of ‘Last 7 Days’. Here you can see how much time you spent on social apps in the last 24 hours or 7 days!
Are you shocked by how much time you spend on social media apps or pleasantly surprised that it’s not as bad as you expected? Over the next few weeks, I’m going to record how much time I spend on the social media apps – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat and will upload my results!
UPDATE (22/01/17)
So, for the past 23 days, I have been keeping track of my social media use on my phone and here are the results! I was really shocked by a few of the results and didn’t expect to find that I used Facebook the most and Instagram the least! Definitely was interesting to see how long I was spending on social media with some days equally as much as 3 hours and 5 minutes! The average users spends around two hours online so this was way above that… My usage results are shown in the graphs below but you can also use a handy app called ‘Moments’ to keep track of how long you spend doing what on your phone!
