A co-founder of this 55,000 channel network is the American YouTube personality Shay Carl, creator of the popular YouTube channel the SHAYTARDS. Maker Studios has over 380 million subscribers which results to 5.5 billion views each month and is home to some of the most successful online influencers such as PewDiePie.
DreamWorks Animation
DreamWorks Animation followed in the footsteps of Disney and bought into the popular teen network AwesomnessTV. According for Fox News, this will allow DreamWorks to have access to a “thriving next-generation media company”.
AwsesomnessTV have their Youtube channel and their website where they can publish their content for their audiences. The online content that they create covers aspects from beauty, fashion, food and much more which explains their large fan base of 14 million subscribers.

With both networks each having millions of subscribers. Therefore, it’s really no surprise that both Disney and DreamWorks wanted part of the action! Both companies creations are loved by individuals of all ages from across the world.
Through buying into the global company YouTube, they will continue to grow in popularity. This will be due to their ability to adapt and meet the needs of of society. This will particularly appeal to the younger generation who will be the key influencers on the future.
Both Disney and DreamWorks have realised the reality of the future and so it’s only a matter of time before more of the key influencers of our childhood buy into the home of the key influencers of the present.
