Look who decided to make a vlog!

I decided for my first vlog, I should do a social experiment kind of thing. I really wanted to see if Tinder was as shallow as I thought it is. So I made two Tinder accounts. One account was made up of photo’s of me with a cake-face load of make-up on and the other, was made up of photo’s of me completely no make-up on whatsoever. I wanted to see which account would get the most likes whilst taking a trip down memory lane and having a giggle at cheesy chat-up lines guys use to stand out from the crowd.

This may seem like the most obvious aspect of online dating to criticise, but it’s still a pain. From the women that lie about their weight to the men that lie about there income, online dating makes it all possible.

What is Ghosting?

Online dating allows users to simply never message back if a date doesn’t work out. It gives users the option to ‘opt out’ of a break-up or any kind of difficult conversations. Ghosting has to be one of the most upsetting aspects of online dating. As I mentioned in my last blog post, there’s a lot of pressure that is involved in online dating and these feelings of stress and anxiety are only heightened for victims of ghosting.
