As of now, right now, the world has me questioning; whether or not, my life as a black female means any less than that of a white female. Why would i think this? I hear you ask. [Read more…] about Welcome Curious Minds.
I am a 20-year-old Black British female, currently studying Communications and Media at University. As a black female, the propaganda I see across the media surrounding black lives causes me to question the society that I live in. However, as a media student I know to take everything I see online, on my phone and that the media promotes and covers, with a pinch of salt. Is there more to the movement than what we see online or on our phones. Does the news or the internet accurately represent or relay the facts to society or do we receive a biased opinion, do we receive any opinion at all?

Crystal was one of the hundred participants that gathered to march on Westminster. Together they marched in protest at the shooting of two black males by police in America.
