My name is Ricky and I&#8217;m a second year student of Communications and Media at Bournemouth University. I have created this blog as part of my Web and Communications module. This website aims to assess the ways in which artificial intelligence (A.I) is likely to transform the way we live.<\/p>\n<p>For many, artificial intelligence belongs in the realm of science fiction. But, as with so many concepts first realised in sci-fi, over the last decade it has started to become a reality. This blog shall begin with a look at consumer products that feature A.I such as iPhone&#8217;s Siri and Google&#8217;s home assistant. I shall then\u00a0go on to explore the way A.I is transforming medical care and how it is likely to\u00a0revolutionise the work place. Finally, I shall take a look at how A.I could be used in both cyber and nuclear warfare.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that now is the time to discuss the important questions and potential issues that humankind is likely to face\u00a0over the coming years as we all learn to live with smart machines.\u00a0No matter where you come from or what you believe, the robots are coming \u2013 and we&#8217;d better be prepared.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello.
