My name is Molly, I study Media and Communications at Bournemouth University. Over the past few years, I have became more and more interested with cloud hacking’s and how the hacker’s have managed to steal private data.
What is EyeCloud?
EyeCloud aims to create awareness about cloud safety and how to keep personal and private information safe.
Do you feel safe in the cloud?
There is 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created daily. The cloud holds a large amount of this data including personal phone calls, messages, photos, videos and documents. In recent years celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence (Actress, star of The Hunger Games) and Victoria Justice (Nickelodeon TV actress) were targeted by hackers who stole sensitive images of the actresses. Celebrities have not been the only ones to be affected by cloud hacking’s in recent years. This blog is to try and answer whether we should feel safe using cloud accounts and how we can avoid hackers from entering cloud accounts.
