Tonight’s post is something different.<\/p>\n
I was fortunate enough to be joined by a successful young lady (Grace) who was willing to take time out of her busy schedule and answer a few questions on the topic of women empowerment and the influences of social media, specifically in regards to the younger generation.<\/p>\n
After having a background chat, we had a cup of tea and decided to tackle these questions. In the interview Grace shares her opinions on women empowerment, stating <\/p>\n
Modern society lacks it…. due to jealousy and other’s being envious <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Explaining that she feels instead of women picking each other up, there’s a lot of jealousy and wishing unhappiness onto other women, mostly because of the content that we see on social media.<\/p>\n
We further discuss, the importance of positive body images and enhancing body confidence especially within the younger generation of girls in contemporary society. With unrealistic body ‘goals’ and photo editing software, it is easy to feel like you’re not good enough and that you’re not beautiful because your physique doesn’t fit the criteria that society has created!<\/p>\n
It was a pleasure speaking to Grace and allowing me to pick her brain on a topic that is clearly important to the both of us.<\/p>\n
