Eating disorders include anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and more, and the worrying thing is, is that all these can stem from a simple hashtag. They affect people of all ages and with internet access forever growing, it is an increasing worry that more youngsters will be exposed to the media’s perception of “the perfect body”. This blog focus’ on the negative but also positive influences that different social media platforms can have on body image. Although increasing access to the internet may be a danger to eating disorders, it could also be used as a way to combat.
