My sister is a very\u00a0confident girl and often doesn&#8217;t bother wearing makeup, however when it comes to events she doesn&#8217;t attend them without looking her best, and she does this by wearing makeup.<\/p>\n<p>Her mood before and after\u00a0applying the\u00a0makeup did drastically change. I managed to get her to agree to let me do her makeup after she came home, knackered from an 11 hour shift at work.\u00a0All she wanted to do was\u00a0just jump in bed and\u00a0I actually felt bad keeping her up by doing this. By the end of the video with her makeup done, she\u00a0felt a lot\u00a0better about herself.\u00a0She suggested going out to a bar (this definitely happened).<\/p>\n<p>But why did this boost her confidence so much? see for yourself.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/APIAL7HRsfs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Makeup technique&#8217;s used<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Eyebrow powder and concealer to outline.<\/strong> This gives the impression of\u00a0a more defined and filled eyebrow. The eyebrows shape the face and so are quite an important part of makeup.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Concealer and powder on the eyelid.<\/strong> This sets the eye so that eyeshadow is easily applied on top, it also gets rid of any darkness on the eyelid.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eyeshadow.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Both light and dark shades combined\u00a0adds dimension to the eye, makes it look bigger, gives it a more ovular shape and also makes it look pretty.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eyeliner.<\/strong> Like eyeshadow, it gives further shape to the eye and gives the illusion of bigger eyes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mascara and fake eyelashes.\u00a0<\/strong> This adds length and makes the lashes stand out more, the dark lashes make her blue eyes really stand out.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Foundation.<\/strong> This gives her a clear and smooth complexion, and hides all blemishes while also making her a little more tanned.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Triangular shaped light concealer under eyes.<\/strong> This hides any dark circles she may have and also gives the illusion that her face has been lifted.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Banana Powder.<\/strong> The light powder makes you assume\u00a0light is hitting the face on the parts which are more raised. This gives\u00a0the illusion of a more defined bone structure.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contour.<\/strong> The darker colours gives the illusion of shadows, this then allows the face to look like its slimmer in some parts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Powder highlight.<\/strong> After using matte&#8217;ifying powder, this then gives back\u00a0the look of a\u00a0healthy glow.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lip liner and lipstick.<\/strong> This gives the illusion of shadows around the edges, making the lips look bigger.
