For any company to track information about you, all you have to do is load their web page. Crazy. The majority of us use smartphones, search engines and are members of social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – but we must understand that being a part of these pose serious privacy risks. Online hackers tend to gather the majority of their victim’s information through the available\u00a0info on their social media sites. Who is to blame? Is it our fault for exposing such information online and should we be more careful? The interview only begins to pick at the surface of the problem\u00a0– huge amounts of young adults like Danny have little to no knowledge about online security. Who is to blame? Do they really care what I’m doing at 4 am in the morning? Probably not. Social media seems to have taken over teen life and become a virtual diary.
