Hello!<\/p>\n

Let me introduce myself. I’m Emily and I’m a just gone 20-year-old\u00a0self-proclaimed party girl from Surrey.<\/a> For those of you who haven’t heard of Surrey, we are often known as the ‘posh’ lot. Of course one can confirm that the above statement is without a doubt, incorrect<\/strong>. No, we don’t all go to private schools or own overly-pruned poodles or sponsor\u00a0Jack Wills – but we do know how to drink.<\/p>\n

\"screen-shot-2016-11-19-at-23-40-47\"Just like anyone, there’s a few things I hate and a few things I love. I HATE Mayo. Mayo\u00a0is practically egg sauce, and the worst thing about Mayonaise is it’s everywhere.\u00a0<\/strong>It’s not easy for us mayo-loathers to bag ourselves a nice meal-deal nowadays. ‘Just Ham’\u00a0<\/em> seems to be the most\u00a0popular option. I also don’t like Sundays. Sundays seem so pointless and depressing. The kitchen looks remarkably like a cake factory has exploded due to the drunken munchies from the night before and no one really starts their day till about 6 pm in my house. Oh and don’t even get me started on loud eaters.\u00a0I absolutely adore dogs. I have a 1-year-old Pug puppy called Lottie. She is my world. She is so gorgeously ugly. It’s hard living at uni without her but wonderful seeing her reaction when I walk through my front door. I’m her favourite of course. I’m also a bit of a foodie. I’m a savoury kind of girl – sausage rolls, cheese, marmite. \u00a0I also love driving, I’ve been driving for about 2 years now. I have a passion for cars I can’t afford (much like everything else in life). I love my family. I am very blessed to have such amazing friends and fam.<\/h5>\n

\u00a0A Dark Reality<\/span><\/h2>\n

I’m currently in my second year at Bournemouth University studying Communications and Media. As part of my Web and Mobile Communications unit, I have been asked to create a blog exploring the ways in which the web and mobile communication have impacted tremendously on modern society. I will be focussing predominantly\u00a0on Social Media and the strain this has on contemporary societal issues.\u00a035 years of the i<\/a>nternet\u00a0<\/a>has\u00a0revolutionised the communications and a technical world in ways never believed. The world wide web is a frightening yet intriguing platform and it is my job to explore the ever-growing depths of the internet and the ramification this may have on me and you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My posts will be exploring the ways in which social media has, *dramatic pause*\u00a0murdered<\/span> a few of the things I love.<\/p>\n
