I don’t think YouTube is a ‘hard’ job. It’s not easy though, and if you want to do it seriously you must invest time and effort into learning the craft. – Zoe London
After discovering Zoe London through her blog, watching her YouTube career blossom has been empowering. The determination and down to earth aura Zoe has makes her fitting to be one of our most endearing Scroll Models.
With almost 60,000 subscribers on YouTube she communicates with her audience regularly, tweeting them and finding time to reply to comments. This is one of the many qualities that makes her such a role model, as she continues to be polite and honest as her channel grows.
Her unique video style also allows her to stand out from the crowd. From postcards at festivals, beautifully styled look books and a series where band members do her makeup, her content is original and she is relaxing to watch.
Zoe has just begun a series of weekly vlogs during 2017, showcasing the ups and downs from her week. Her first one went live this week and, just like her, it was open, honest and full of heart.
As a woman, it is always encouraging to see other females challenging themselves online. Alongside other women including our Scroll Model Hazel Hayes, Zoe is conquering the stigma that comes with being a female YouTuber. Her alternative looks including her show stopping blue hair allow people young and old to see that it is acceptable to break through the boundaries of what is expected of you and here at Scroll Models, that is something that ranks highly on what makes a fantastic role model.
In short, Zoe’s desire to push herself creatively and mentally make her a shining example for modern day women. We cannot wait to see what magic she will be creating during 2017 and can imagine it will be onwards and upwards from here.
Congratulations, Zoe, on being our Scroll Model of the Week!
