I&#8217;m\u00a019 and currently in my second year\u00a0studying Communication and Media at Bournemouth University.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve started this blog to discuss the ever-growing usage of social media and the extent to which it has becoming part of everyday life.\u00a0Thanks to technological advances, we&#8217;re all constantly connected to the digital world. We\u00a0have endless access to everything on-demand, but how much has this affected real-life situations?<\/p>\n<p>Today, we use our phones for everything from dating, to shopping, and simply just chatting to friends. A big part of the internet and smartphones, is social media. Millions have access to more than one social networking site and spends endless hours a day scrolling for updates.
