One word with an infinite amount of meanings. Where do I begin? Well I can start by saying DO NOT Google it because all you’ll find is pathetic definitions with words like ‘flawless’ and ‘excellence’ attached to it. I don’t know about you, but in my opinion I believe that perfection doesn’t exist, and has never existed. Think about it, can you ever truly see yourself as perfect, or have you ever seen your reflection in a mirror and thought to yourself, “yep, that’s me… perfect”? We can think that about other people, either our friends, family or celebrities that we often see on social media, but let’s be honest, we can never actually say it about ourselves. And that isn’t because we don’t want to be cocky or vein, it’s because we always want just one more thing in our lives to be perfect. Whether that’s something small like wanting the newest Michael Kors handbag to complete an outfit, or something big like wanting your lips done because you think they are too thin (hint hint… Kylie Jenner), but either way it’s impossible for us to actually classify our lives and ourselves as ‘perfect’.

Michael Jackson or Chris Hemsworth – Which one would you chose?

Have you ever had a conversation with your best friend discussing who your ultimate celebrity crush is and they have responded, “Ew no, their nose is too big” or “they aren’t tall enough”. (Don’t deny it, we all do it!) It can be their lifestyles we think are perfect or their incredible figures or fashion, but we all look at someone on Instagram or Twitter and think think “damn Daniel…” No i’m only kidding, but you do see that person as somewhat perfect, and somewhere deep inside you wish you were more like them, or had something that they have, even if it is just one thing. This is probably the reason why so many people on social media have created accounts to post encouraging, or inspiring quotes to the people who feel insecure about themselves, as they still believe that perfection is real and achievable. Over the years, people have slowly started to realise that perfection isn’t real, and some celebrities have spoken out about it:

“Who are you to judge the life I live?
