I wish these pale painted<br \/>\nfaces would stare in awh instead of disgust.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nI wish I was as yellow as a sunflower<br \/>\nor maybe an oddly pink tone fleshed with red<br \/>\nI want my color to be praised not discussed<br \/>\nlike dirt being picked out of fingers<\/p>\n<p>I have come to the realization that I am a sunflower<br \/>\nBeautiful, bold, and magical<br \/>\nMy brown petals stretch out from limb to limb<br \/>\nmeeting at my bud with a smile so dazzling<br \/>\nand eyes small but fill with love and hope.<\/p>\n<p>I am a sunflower in the boldest of ways possible<br \/>\nlike coffee with no sugar no cream. I am loved like Jupiter<br \/>\nloves Juno, My brightness is appreciated like a full moon<br \/>\nat 12 midnight. I could fill a whole field with my petals<br \/>\njust for your grazing.<\/p>\n<p>I am a sunflower.
