How can someone who has openly and\u00a0publicly\u00a0called women \u201cFat, pig, disgusting animal and dog\u201d<\/em> be the\u00a0next president of the United States of America? <\/strong><\/h2>\n

What a chump!\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It baffles me that someone who can be so openly rude and out right patronizing can also be a president, and not just any president but the president of the most \u201cinfluential\u201d country in the world. He openly used these words to refer to women and has\u00a0been called out on various occasions and throughout the media for his language, which objectifies women. Donald Trump says things about women publicly that should be considered socially unacceptable but instead he is encouraging sexist behavior among his supporters, whether he knows it or not.<\/p>\n

When I saw the results of the election on the morning of the 8th of November, I actually found myself unsurprised about who the new president will be. The result of the election just goes to show that if the newest president of the United States can talk about women the way he pleases, without any consideration for who may be listening, then what kind of message is that sending out? Not just to other men who will now think it is okay to refer to a women as a pig<\/em> or a dog<\/em>, but how women will think this is the norm, that it is okay to be spoken about in this way. It is certainly not! We should not be condoning this behavior.<\/p>\n

People are still so wrapped up the “traditional” way of thinking that they themselves believe that a women couldn\u2019t run the country because \u201cthe presidency is a man\u2019s job\u201d. This is what a Trump supporter<\/a> told a reporter at one of the Trump rallies. The Guardian\u00a0revealed that 53% of white women<\/a> voted for Trump in the election. It is the educated voting for Trump too. 45% of white female college graduates had voted for him. I find these figures shocking, as the man is a chauvinist\u2026yet women still had the audacity to vote for him.<\/p>\n

He always seems to have a strong opinion on what women should and shouldn’t be able to do, whether it is politically, socially or physically. He’s got his own idea on what it is to be a women and it is very skewed. There are always comments he makes, particularly on women\u2019s appearance, I\u2019ve noticed. He is a shallow human being. Throughout the last few years saying abominable things such as\u00a0\u201c a women who seeks abortion should be subject to some kind of punishment\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He seems to think that he should be able to make decisions on behalf\u00a0of all women, like he knows them so well and can relate?<\/h4>\n

Following the recent presidential election, there was a lot of back and forth between Trump and Hillary. Trump said about the other presidential candidate, \u201cDo you think she looks presidential? I don\u2019t think so.\u201d<\/a> I wonder, how does someone\u00a0look<\/strong> presidential? I wonder if this is purely based on the fact that she is a woman??? There is no written rule but Hillary sure looks more like a president to me and is certainly more qualified for the job.<\/p>\n

During the debate he also referred to Hillary as \u201cthe devil\u201d<\/a>. In my opinion this is no way to refer to another person, let alone another candidate. Trump feels the need to put women down in order to look more powerful. He does not seem to filter his thoughts. He speaks before he thinks and by that stage it is too late, it\u2019s all out in the open. I don\u2019t believe that someone who cannot control what he says\u00a0will be able\u00a0to make rational\u00a0political decisions!
