My name is Bianca<\/strong>. I was born in Durban, South Africa and moved to Singapore at the age of 13. Now 19, I am living in my 4th country to\u00a0study and work towards a BA in Communications and Media at Bournemouth University. I am currently in my second year and been given the opportunity to create a blog that focuses on a key social issues and the issue I have chosen is Sexism (how original).<\/p>\n Little Women<\/strong> is a blog that will look at sexism against women and it’s progression over the last few decades. Although society have come along way from where we used to be,\u00a0we still have not made it to the place where we should be. I will focus on what areas of society still need improving in terms of gender equality. I will focus on recent news events\/stories, with a particular focus on working women and women in Politics. Looking at how social media has been used as a platform to empower women in some areas and how\u00a0it has been used to belittle them in other areas.<\/p>\n Follow<\/strong> my thought process here and through my social media @littlewomenn (available on Facebook and Twitter) and\u00a0please feel free to express your thoughts with me whether you agree or disagree with what I have to say.
