Food in Thailand
I am not going to lie- it took me a while to get used to the food in Thailand. I remember the struggle in first couple of weeks with my craving for European food. It was like standing in a shop full of beautiful clothes, but only wanting the most expensive one, which you cannot afford. Chulalongkorn University
The first visit to Chulalongkorn university is on the second day. The exchange student coordinator mentioned that all the exchange students will be having activities on Saturday at 9am. I forget about my jet lag and get up at 8am, ready to meet my fellow students. Thankful for Google maps, I put the address on my phone and get out of my room. First impressions of Bangkok
When I arrive in Bangkok, I am freezing and tired from the trip that all I want to do is go to sleep the moment I arrive. However, Bangkok has a different plan for me. The first time I realise I am no longer in Europe is when I set foot on Thai grounds. It's 30°C! In January- one of the coldest months in Europe!
