My name is Louis Walters and welcome to my blog. When searching the web and scrolling through my various social media accounts, nothing quite gets to me like clickbait, headlines or content radicalised and completely exaggerated just to intrigue me enough to add to the view count.
Obviously this is nothing new, tabloid newspapers have been doing it for years as a means of convincing us to part with our shrapnel, but when I’m in the comfort of my own home, getting excited to apparently read “The one thing Donald Trump doesn’t want you to see”, only to be let down when finding out that it’s just an image of him stood next to a picture of a carrot that mildly resembles him, could potentially derail my entire afternoon.
Providing comment on said media content that has done this, across a multitude of media platforms, could expand awareness at what is often an annoyance but could also potentially encourage more radical outlooks (hopefully this will be more fun than I’m making it sound). Just think of it as some satirised content with a dash of the cold, hard truth thrown in for good measure.
